Ray Elbe, nicknamed "Magical Ray" who taught mixed martial arts, injured his penis when he and his girlfriend were having a vigorous session of sexual intercourse in his Kuala Lumpur apartment on Dec 3.
"I jumped out from that intimate moment with blood shooting out from my groin. I tried to run to the shower and felt myself losing consciousness," said Elbe in a video posted on his blog.
He collapsed and ended up with 10 stitches to his chin and several chipped teeth. As a result of the injury, he was unable to urinate properly for several weeks.
After having a catheter strapped to his leg and being confined to a wheelchair, Elbe feels like a brand new man after it was removed on Wednesday.
"It feels amazing to be able to walk ... Being in a wheelchair and relying on other people to help you get around was difficult.
"As a professional fighter, it was a humbling experience having to depend on others for help with simple tasks like getting to the bank or finding food for dinner," he told The Star.
