AirAsia is now offering one million seats to selected destinations at $0.

The free seats will be available to destinations like Langkawi, Bandung, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Tickets will be applicable for a seven-month travel period, which extends into 2014. However, they are limited and may not be available on weekend dates or public holidays.

Booking ends Jan 20. Respective airport taxes and fuel surcharges apply.

AirAsia has also announced the launch of a new route from Singapore to Semarang, Indonesia.

In conjunction with the launch, the low-cost carrier is offering promotional rates for one-way tickets at $89, all-inclusive.

The Singapore-Semarang flight will operate four times a week. AirAsia also flies directly from Singapore include Jakarta, Bandung, Bali and Yogyakarta.

Booking period starts from now till Jan 27, 2013 on www.airasia.com and the promotion is valid for the travel period of Feb 7, 2013 to Feb 9, 2014.
