BMW 316i
It's finally here. The highly anticipated BMW 316i Saloon with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine will allow the accomplished Beemer to enter COE Category A and probably spark premium mayhem.
If it does happen, it won't be a surprise because the 3 series, is, after all, the best compact sports saloon in its class.
Range Rover
As the first SUV with an all-aluminium structure, the new Range Rover is 39 per cent lighter than the previous model with a steel body.
The styling is softer with a tapered tail, and it is 27 mm longer at 5.0 metres but with a 20 mm lower roofline.
An extra 40mm for the wheelbase yields improved rear legroom in its plush cabin.
This luxury offroader offers a choice of 4.4-litre V8 turbodiesel or a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine.
Porsche Cayman
Sharing the new platform used by the Boxster roadster, the new Porsche Cayman will be lighter and stiffer than its predecessor.
Power for the mid-engined coupe comes from a 2.7-litre horizontally opposed six-cylinder unit producing 275 horses, while the more powerful Cayman S has a 3.4-litre engine with 325 hp.
Acceleration times from zero to 100kmh with the brilliant PDK double clutch gearbox drop to 5.6 seconds and 4.9 seconds respectively.
Porsche 911
Porsche will also launch the all-wheel-driver versions of the rear-engined 911 in both coupe and cabriolet form.
The Porsche 911 C4 and C4S get 350 hp 3.4-litre and 400 hp 3.8-litre flat-six engines respectively to drive all four wheels for supreme traction.
Mini Paceman
The Mini Paceman is a sportier, two-door version of the Mini Countryman.
It features two individual rear seats and a distinctive sloping roof.
The Paceman is positioned higher than the Countryman.
This Countryman coupe - if you will - has exclusive equipment and features such as special colours and leathers, as well as Harman Kardon sound system and panoramic glass roof.
It will be available as a Cooper and Cooper S, with 1.6-litre naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines respectively.
Audi A3
The new Audi A3 promises to be a groundbreaking model from the brand with the four interlocking rings.
Embracing the carmaker's "ultra" lightweight technology philosophy, it is up to 80kg lighter through extensive use of aluminium.
This means improved performance as well as fuel efficiency.
The A3 is also the first model to be based on the Volkswagen Group's MQB modular architecture.
Expect the 1.4 TFSI and 1.8 TFSI variants to be launched first.
Rolls-Royce Ghost
Rolls-Royce is set to unveil the two-door version of its Ghost limousine at the Geneva Motor Show.
Expect this "entry-level" model to be stylish and opulent as the bigger Phantom coupe.
Mercedes-Benz A200 and A250
The brand with the three-pointed star will unveil a whole host of new models next year.
They include the CLA-Class in Q4 - a mini CLS four-door coupe.
As well as the Mercedes-Benz A200 and A250, both with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine driving the front wheels.
Expect the A200 to be priced below the B200, which at today's COE levels, may mean around $180,000.
But with its premium styling, the new A-class is expected to attract a new and younger type of Merc customer.
Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG
Even more interesting will be the arrival in the second half of the high-performance A45 AMG with a 2.0-litre engine and all-wheel-drive.
Mercedes-Benz GL350 and GL500
Described as the S-Class among off-road vehicles, the brand new Mercedes-Benz GL-Class will not only be one of the most luxurious SUVs on the market, but it also boasts rugged features such as hardened paintwork to prevent scratches when jungle-bashing.
This seven-seater with 4Matic all-wheel-drive and Airmatic air suspension has an Active Curve System with lateral stabilisers to reduce body roll in corners.
The GL350 with a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel and GL500 with a 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine come with six driving programmes.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class full-sized limousine promises sportier, less conservative styling, and with more dynamic performance.
As the flagship model, expect a whole host of new technologies to debut with this model.
The all-new platform will also feature a range of powertrains, including a diesel and a hybrid.
Jaguar F-Type
One of the most exciting models from the leaping cat in recent history should be here in six month's time.
The Jaguar F-Type roadster may or may not be the spiritual successor to the iconic E-Type.
But what is certain is that it has two seats, a fabric roof and a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine with 380 hp to drive the rear wheels.
A petrol-electric hybrid and a coupe version are expected to follow eventually.
Toyota RAV4
After being relatively quiet for the past couple of years, Toyota will blitz the Singapore market with up to five new models next year.
One of them is the new Toyota RAV4. This soft-roader gets sporty new styling and a 151 hp 2.0-litre engine mated to a seven-step continuously variable transmission.
Inside, the funky new cabin comes with seven airbags while at the back, there is a powered tailgate - a first for a Toyota.
Toyota Auris
Toyota will unveil a new compact five-door hatchback that is designed for the European market and made in the UK.
The popular Toyota Auris 1.6 has a 132 hp engine driving the front wheels through a seven-step CVT.
As with most Toyotas, its 1,600cc unit is particularly efficient, sipping just 5.7 litres of petrol per 100 km, or 17.5 km/litre, while its carbon dioxide emissions of 134 g/km will net it a CEVS rebate of $10,000.
Volkswagen Golf
The latest Volkswagen Golf is lighter and more dynamic.
It is more dynamic and features the groundbreaking Modular Transverse Matrix module-sharing platform for VW Group compact cars.
The 7th-generation Golf gets evolutionary styling but with a slightly longer wheelbase for better rear legroom.
Solid and efficient motoring is delivered by two 1.4 TSI models with new 122 hp or 140 hp engines.
Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet
As with the latest Volkswagen Beetle, the new Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet will convey more masculine styling.
The silhouette of the 3rd-generation convertible is also markedly different because the fabric roof is now flatter when folded, thus improving rear visibility.
There is space for four adults, with two concealed rollover bars for protection.
