F1: Red Bull's Vettel to join Alonso at Ferrari in 2014

Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has signed a contract with Ferrari and will join the team in 2014, according to reports.

Felipe Massa's seat at Ferrari next year will also be confirmed, with the team all but confirming that the Brazilian had done enough over the second half of the season to secure a contract extension through to the end of 2013.

Fernando Alonso, who vetoed Lewis Hamilton's arrival at the team earlier this year, is apparently glad that the German will be his new team-mate.

"He's (been) doing an excellent job since a couple of races, so this is really very promising for the end of the season".

Red Bull and Vettel have denied any arrangement with Ferrari, with the team insisting he is under contract until the end of 2014, but his current deal contains clauses which will allow Vettel to leave, reported The Daily Telegraph.

Massa's future had been in doubt after a lacklustre start to the season, but a strong drive in the Japanese Grand Prix last weekend has convinced the team that he has a future, at least for one more season.
