War relic found at junction of Lorong 22 Geylang and Guillemard Road

A war relic was found today at the junction of Lorong 22 Geylang and Guillemard Road.

Police officers have cordoned the affected area and CBRE (the Singapore Armed Forces' Chemical Biological Radiological and Explosives Defence Group) is attending to the incident.

As such, Lorong 22 Geyland and Guillemard Road, between Mountbatten Road and Cassia Crescent, have been closed.

The traffic police has been deployed at the affected roads.

The police advises members of the public not to be alarmed and to tune in to the radio for the latest update on the traffic situation.
