Defence Minister Dr Ng Eng Hen & wife to attend royal wedding in Brunei

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen and Prof Ivy Ng will visit Brunei Darussalam from 22 to 24 September.

Dr Ng and Prof Ng will go as special representatives of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to attend the royal wedding of Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, the daughter of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The minister and Prof Ng will attend the royal bersanding ceremony and the royal banquet on 23 September.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Dr Ng's visit is a reflection of the warm friendship and strong ties between Singapore and Brunei.
