In another operation on Tuesday, CNB officers arrested two Singaporean men, aged 52 and 41, for suspected drug trafficking and seized about 500 grammes of heroin, estimated to be worth about S$52,000.

CNB officers trailed the 52-year-old man, who's believed to be a drug distributor.

He was seen leaving his residence to meet with his suspected drug client, a 41-year-old Singaporean man who arrived in a lorry around Telok Blangah Drive. The two met briefly and left. Shortly after, officers arrested the 52-year-old suspect.

He then led officers to his home in Telok Blangah Drive, where about 265 grammes of heroin were recovered.

Over at Alexandra Terrace, another team of CNB officers intercepted the lorry driven by the 41-year-old suspect.

The suspect resisted arrest but was eventually subdued.
