Angry Birds to get new feathered friend

The Angry Birds have a new feathered friend. Game creator Rovio tweeted that a new character called Pink Bird will make her debut in the next installment of the game.

Rovio has also made the new Pink Bird its avatar on its Twitter account. The Pink Bird does not have the same scowl as the other Angry Birds in the highly successful game.

In a video posted by Rovio, the Pink Bird is seen blowing bubbles that can injure the pigs. It is unclear if that will be her special power in the actual game.



In the video, the Pink Bird sees a group of pigs plotting a scheme and decides to stop them.

She blows a bubble in the shape of an egg that attracts the pigs' attention

The pigs see the 'egg bubble' and give chase.

They crash into each other and fall off a cliff.

The Pink Bird is expected to debut in Angry Birds Seasons.
