Dust down your old school uniforms, neon leggings and retro wigs -- the annual 80s Retrolicious outdoor mega concert is back.
Four acts -- former 80s favourites Wang Chung, Tiffany, Howard Jones and Alphaville will headline this year's gig on 6 October 2012.
The annual retro concert, back in its third year, will be held at the new Gardens by the Bay concert venue instead of Fort Canning Park.
Wang Chung is most remembered for its 1986 party hit, "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" while Tiffany is best known for her dancey bubblegum tune "I Think We're Alone Now".
Another crowd pleaser is set to be sing-along favourite and karaoka hit "Forever Young" by German synth-pop band Alphaville.
"There is something about the 80's that we will never forget. For many people, it represents a time of evolution, free-spiritedness, mad hairstyles, fashion, and possibly, the best decade of music," said Beatrice Chia-Richmond, creative director of event organisers Running Into the Sun.
Tickets are priced at $125 each while limited VIP tickets go for $225.
Tickets will be available for sale at all Sistic counters from 3 August while M1 customers enjoy priority discounts of 20 per cent between 3-12 August.
For ticketing information, call Sistic at 6348 5555 or log on to www.runningintothesun.com for regular updates.
