Ronaldo and Nani set to visit Singapore next month

Portugal football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani are set to make a stopover in Singapore next month.

The Straits Times understands that Manchester United player Nani will be here on July 15 for a promotional visit.

Said Jon Collins, chief executive officer of football consultancy Centurion Football: 'Nani is looking at a holiday in the region so he might be here for a couple of days. We're looking to organise an event at Clarke Quay.'

The Manchester United player visited Singapore in June last year to help raise awareness for the Singapore Olympic Foundation-Peter Lim Scholarship.
