The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) is bringing jobs to women in the heartlands - on wheels. A mobile recruitment vehicle called 'Jobs on Wheels for U' will travel around the island, in a new initiative by the NTUC Women's Development Secretariat.

The vehicle will visit a different location each week and offer job opportunities to women in the neighbourhood. It was launched on Friday by Mr Patrick Tay, Member of Parliament for Nee Soon GRC, at a job fair aimed at bringing women into the workforce.

About 1,000 jobs from 11 employers are on offer on the 'Back2Work with U' job fair at Nee Soon East Community Centre, in sectors such as healthcare, finance, security, education, and transport and logistics.
