This is the tab worn only by a small group of highly-trained Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART) officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The road to becoming an SCDF DART officer
To join the ranks of this elite force, officers have to go through a grueling 28-hour selection test and pass an intense 10-week training programme.
On 7 June 2012, 16 firefighters set out on that difficult road with the hope of qualifying for the DART course.
Only eight made the cut.
