Flat in Shunfu sold for record $1.17m

A double-storey HUDC apartment in Block 316, Shunfu Road, with a total area of 156 sqm, has broken records with its $1.17m selling price.

According to the Shin Min Daily News, the price beats a recent sale of a 160 sqm apartment at Hougang Avenue 2 Block 716, which was sold for $1.06m in February.

Experts said the remaining HUDC units at Hougang, Potong Pasir and Kallang are expected to fetch between $700k and $990k in the coming years.

They are considered suitable for families due to their large floor areas. Buyers also view them as having an established public transport route as they are usually in mature estates.
