Body of missing man in boat collision found

A body believed to be that of the missing man from Saturday's boat collision was found near Jurong River last night.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) said it a statement issued early this morning that the body was found at 11.16pm last night.

Search and rescue operations for the missing man had been going on since Saturday morning, after a pleasure craft carrying 10 men collided with another boat. One man died, while another two were hospitalised on Saturday. The missing man, Mr Hamidzan Abdullah, was the last man unaccounted for.
