Two bodies found floating over the weekend

WHAT? TWO BODIES FOUND FLOATING?
Two bodies were found at two beaches in Singapore over the weekend.

The body of Mohammad Nor Hidayat, 29, was discovered around 10am on Saturday morning (24 Mar) at Tanjong Beach in Sentosa after it was washed onto the beach by the tide.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Mohammad Nor was a performer at Universal Studios and according to his friends, he often worked out and is able to swim.

It is suspected that he had drowned while he was intoxicated after drinking.

According to Lianhe Wanbao, Mohammad Nor had been partying and drinking with his friends during the wee hours of Saturday morning.

His friends know him as a very happy-go-lucky person who was sociable and had more than 2,000 friends on Facebook.

As the only son, his two sisters and parents are devastated with his demise.

One of Mohammad Nor's friends, a 32-year-old man who is believed to have been out partying with him, had also gone missing.

Another body was discovered in the sea off Labrador Park yesterday (25 Mar) at 7.50am.

It remains unverified whether the male body, found 4.5km from Tanjong Beach, belongs to Mohammad Nor's missing friend.
