Former teacher jailed for molesting students

A former teacher was jailed for 10 years and ordered to be given six strokes of the cane on Monday for molesting two boys and performing oral sex on an eight-year-old in school.

The 38-year-old had admitted to two counts of molesting an 11-year-old and eight-year-old and two counts of penetrating another eight-year-old in 2009.

The court heard that in early 2009, the accused saw the 11-year-old in school and took him to a computer lab, offering him a chance to play with his PlayStation Portable (PSP).

He molested the victim as he was playing with the PSP. The victim did not say anything as he was afraid of the accused.
