Football: FIFA gives Indonesia until June 15 to fix crisis

Soccer Clown 2Football's governing body FIFA on Friday agreed to hold off sanctions on Indonesia's football association, giving it until June 15 to resolve a crisis sparked by the revival of a breakaway league.

FIFA had asked the PSSI to resolve problems triggered by the unofficial elite league, the Super Liga, which has split the country's best clubs.

The Indonesian association's legal team submitted its proposals on resolving the crisis on March 19, including plans to merge the leagues or formally recognise the Super Liga, but on condition it would be under PSSI's control.
