Singapore's three universities, five polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) on Friday announced separately that they will raise tuition fees by around 2 per cent to 7 per cent for the next academic year.
They said the increases were due to the increased cost of providing a quality education. As in previous years, the increases will be bigger for permanent residents and foreigners than for citizens.
