Terengganu wants to spoil LionsXII party

Coming to Singapore on a three-match winning streak, Terengganu coach Mat Zan Mat Aris was certainly brimming with confidence ahead of tonight's crunch tie.

The 53-year-old said: "I regard the LionsXII as one of the contenders too, but my team have what it takes to win this game.

"I also believe we can win the Super League, the FA Cup and the Malaysia Cup this season. That would be a dream come true."

DID SUNDRAM MEAN WE'RE GIVING FORKEY A JOB?
Said LionsXII coach V Sundramoorthy of Terengganu's hitman: "Francis (Doe Forkey) is a good player, but we'll treat him the same way we treat other foreigners.

"Tactically we must know how to cope with him."

This probably means the Dazzler will unleash his trio of defensive heroes – The Pitbull (Isa Halim), The Wall (Hariss Harun) and The Safe (Safuwan Baharudin) – on Forkey.

Three goals in two games for the mercurial Liberian hitman may be a fine statistic, but consider this – the LionsXII have not allowed a foreign player to score against them from open play so far this season.
