A freelance swimming instructor was jailed for 18 months on Wednesday for getting a seven-year-old student to touch him.
The 28-year-old who faced three charges each under the Children and Young Persons Act and Films Act admitted to two indecent act offences and one of obscene films possession at his Ang Mo Kio flat.
The victim and her five-year-old sister were having lessons at their condominium pool last October when the accused asked the victim to touch him on the pretext of teaching her about private parts.
He told her not to tell her parents.
