IN A stunning turn of events, national coach Raddy Avramovic has been hit with a four-match suspension and a 6,000 euro ($10,000) fine by Fifa for the red card he received in Singapore’s World Cup Qualifier against China on Sept 2.
The punishment comes after Fifa investigated Avramovic’s expulsion during that controversial encounter, where Singapore lost 2-1 to China.
It is understood that Avramovic had been charged with bringing the game into disrepute.
