Electricity tariffs cut for next 3 months

Singapore Power (SP) has announced reduced electricity tariffs for the next three months.

The tariffs will be cut by around 1 per cent.

Between the first of October and the end of December, a family staying in a four-room HDB flat will see a decrease of about $1.24 in their monthly electricity bills.

The revision is due to lower fuel oil prices resulting in lower power generation costs.
