TWO popular clubs in Singapore have been the target of online rumours.
And both have alerted the police.
The rumour: A woman, dubbed the "Revenge Angel", is going around Zouk and The Butter Factory attacking club-goers with a syringe supposedly filled with HIV-tainted blood.
She had apparently been infected with the virus from someone she had met in a club.
Police confirmed that the reports were lodged and said they are looking into the matter.
Its spokesman told The New Paper: "However, at this point, the information received is unsubstantiated.
The public is advised not to perpetuate such rumours which may cause undue alarm."
