PSG to battle Man United for Ganso

Manchester United are set to face competition from free-spending Paris Saint-Germain for Santos starlet Ganso.

Cash-rich PSG are planning to hijack Ganso's move to Old Trafford with a proposed £35million bid for the attacking midfielder.

The French Ligue 1 club, backed by the Qatar Investment Authority, have gone on a shopping spree this summer - signing the likes of Blaise Matuidi, Jeremy Menez, Salvatore Sirigu and Mohamed Sissoko.

And more new faces are expected at the Parc des Princes come the start of the new season, with Ganso and Palermo hitman Javier Pastore reportedly top of their wish-list.
