Irfan Fandi opened the scoring, with tournament top-scorer Andin striking twice more as the SSP motored to a 3-0 half-time lead en route to a 3-1 semi-final win. That secured the school their all-time best result in seven outings at these games, improving on the bronze won in 2007.

The SSP beat Trang Sports School 2-0 last Saturday and will meet Khonkaen Sports School in tomorrow's gold medal match.

"With our Secondary 2 boys here in Suphanburi, we're delighted also to find out our Secondary 1 boys have won the National 'C' Division title back home, which our 14-year-olds would normally be playing in."

Yesterday, the SSP's junior team beat Victoria School 1-0 to add to the "B" division title they won on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the SSP also collected a gold, two silver and two bronze medals from golf to bring their haul from these games to 56 gold, 49 silver and 32 bronze medals.
