In one fell swoop of an accident, a blonde woman driving a Bentley Azure knocked into four other luxury cars – a Mercedes-Benz, a Ferrari, a Porsche and an Aston Martin, in full view of hundreds of wide-eyed bystanders at a Monte Carlo supercar meeting.
Her gaffe in front of Monaco's swanky Place du Casino has become an overnight news sensation, with many labelling it the world’s most expensive accident.
The woman's Bentley Azure, a £250,000 (S$491,000) car, first scrapped the side of a £75,000 (S$147,000) Mercedes-Benz S Class, before crashing into a black Ferrari F430 worth £143,000 (S$281,000).
The supercar derby came to a stop only after the Bentley ploughed "head-on" into two more cars, a Porsche 911 and an Aston Martin.
The total value of the supercars involved is estimated to be £700,000 (S$1.4 million).
