A spokesman for the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they received a call at 11.14am. No passers-by were injured but a Chinese male, 60, was conveyed to Singapore General Hospital for knee abrasions.

A taxi and a car were involved in the collision that resulted in the car crashing into a pillar at the historical Chijmes.
Police are currently investigating the accident.
