Wander, the dog that got hit repeatedly with a metal chain, has been put to sleep

Colleen Goh: Sad as the decision is, we all know it is for the best. We are all reluctant to let this girl leave us. She has fought hard and strong and we have all fallen in love with her spirit. She is beautiful in our eyes and we will always remember ...her as the stray that brought many of us together.

She has not suffered in vain. Because of her, more people are now aware of the plight of strays in Singapore, more are fighting for harsher penalties for animal abusers. God does things for a reason. And she will live in our hearts forever and keep us strong when we feel weak.

Do not be sad. Because come Saturday, she will go to a place where there is no more suffering. Where she can run free and be the happy dog she is. Where she will be whole again, where there is no more pain and she can run free and not worry about abusers and AVA coming to catch her.

To all of you who have been with her and fought for her. I say a BIG THANK YOU.
