Seattle Officer Cleared In Punching of Jaywalker (VIDEO)

The Seattle Police Department has cleared Officer Ian Walsh, who was caught on camera punching a teenage jaywalker who had grabbed him.

The OPA received the complaint, thoroughly investigated it by interviewing witnesses and reviewing the tactics used by Officer Walsh and concluded that the officer performed his duties within the scope of department policies and procedures. Chief John Diaz concurred with that finding.
