Three men sentenced to jail, ordered to be caned, for molestation of tipsy girl

Restaurant assistant manager Gregory Goh Boon Hong, 29, management trainee Yue Waita, 31, and restaurant manager Eric Wong Meng Cheong, 33, were convicted on Oct 15.

The girl, who was then a 17-year-old student, had testified that she had been drinking with them at a Boat Quay bar the night before the incident.

Wong was jailed 15 months and given six strokes of the cane. The other two were each jailed 10 months and given three strokes of the cane.

All three intend to appeal against their conviction and were offered bail of $15,000 each. LINK
