A FORMER employee of Singapore telco M1 allegedly embezzled $2 million and splurged the money on Porsches, luxury watches, and even a $200,000 live stingray, reported The Business Times on Tuesday.
According to court documents seen by BT, M1 claims Matthew Yeo Kay Keng, 35, sold 3,414 handsets to resellers and pocketed $2.09 million from the sales.
Mr Yeo is said to have spent the money on two Porsches, luxury watches including three Rolexes and four Audemars Piguets, a $160,000 Arowana and the $200,000 stingray.

M1 dismissed him on Nov 15 and sued him the next day for breach of his employment agreement, breach of duty of fidelity, fraudulent misrepresentation and unjust enrichment.
