The Legatum Prosperity Index, compiled by London-based analytical centre Legatum Institute, saw Norway top the list of 110 countries while Zimbabwe came in last.
Europe dominates the top 10 countries on the list, taking six of the spots.
The United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand make up the rest of the top 10.

Other Asia-Pacific countries that made the top 20 were Japan and Hong Kong, which were ranked 18 and 20 respectively.
In South-east Asia, the only other country besides Singapore that made it to the top 50 was Malaysia, which came in 43rd. LINK
