PUB appoints contractor for Orchard Road elevation

The National water agency, PUB, said it has awarded a $22 million contract to raise a stretch of Orchard Road to protect it against flash floods.
It said the appointed firm, Or Kim Peow Contractors, will work closely with the relevant agencies and businesses in the area to ensure minimal disruption to business, traffic and pedestrians. The areas were hit by one of the worst floods in recent history in June. LINK
