A PRISON vehicle carrying inmates broke down in a tunnel on the Central Expressway, causing a short traffic jam on Monday morning.
The hold-up eased once the prisoners were transferred to another vehicle and the broken-down one was cleared at about 10am.
The inmates were being driven to the Subordinate Courts at Havelock Road from Changi Prison. MORE
