Male Suspect Arrested For The Murder At Woodlands Drive 50 (Updated)

There's an update to the article I posted earlier: Male Suspect Arrested For The Murder At Woodlands Drive 50
The suspect, who is with the Republic of Singapore Navy, was handed over by the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) to the police on Thursday evening. The Ministry of Defence said he was in the custody of the SAF Military Police Command, awaiting trial for going Awol. The SAF is assisting the police in their investigations.

According to the police, the suspect has no criminal record and that the motive behind the murder has not been determined, pending police investigations.

The police said that tracing the suspect required the help of external agencies such as the Health Sciences Authority.

The authorities are also investigating if the suspect was involved in two other similar attacks in January and May.

In all four cases, the victims are Chinese women in their 20s and 30s and nothing was stolen from them. The suspect will be charged in court on Saturday with murder. If convicted, he faces the death penalty. LINK
