Luo Meifang, 42, a Singaporean foodstall operator, was fined another $400 for attempting to get into the casino without paying the entry levy of $100 on July 14.

The court heard that Luo, who runs two food stalls at Alexandra Hospital and Singapore General Hospital, had gambled at the casino on four occasions since April. When she realised that people presenting work permits at the entrance did not have to pay the levy, she decided to do the same. LINK
