SINGAPORE - Gao Chao, the general manager of Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan, is reported to have said his club's development squad plying their trade in the Great Eastern-Yeo's S-League will not participate in the 2011 season. While club officials in Singapore deny it, former Sinchi FC vice-chairman Wang Jin Hui believes Chinese clubs have no place in the S-League - at least for now.

Wang, who introduced Sinchi to the S-League in 2003, making them the first foreign team to play in the Republic's pro-league, told MediaCorp: "Chinese football is in chaos. It has gone from bad to worse, and it's hard to expect the reserve teams of Chinese clubs to do well here." LINK
