Alleged Tampines serial molester arrested

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 23-year-old man believed to be responsible for a series of outrage of modesty cases in the vicinity of Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Street 81 between May and October this year.

Police said that the suspect would sneak up on unsuspecting female victims and flee immediately after molesting them.

If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to 2 years and could be caned.

Police would like to advise members of the public to be alert and attentive to the surroundings, especially when they are alone.
