S'pore may see 4th telco offering mobile services

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore will auction off in November Singapore's final third-generation (3G) mobile spectrum, despite opposition from the existing three telcos since the idea was first mooted in March this year.

IDA said it welcomes bids from new and existing operators - and these could come to at least S$20 million.
