Man arrested for attempting to bribe police officer

SINGAPORE: A 20-year-old man who tried to bribe a police officer has been arrested.

He offered an officer from Central Police station a $20 bribe on September 17.

The officer had conducted a check on him and another man near New Bridge Road and taken down their particulars.

The man wanted the officer to remove his particulars from the record.

The case has been referred to the Corrupt Practices Investigations Bureau (CPIB). SOURCE
