Checkpoint delays expected this weekend

SINGAPORE - As Hari Raya Puasa coincides with the end of the week-long school holidays, it is expected that the volume of traffic at the two land checkpoints will be heavy.

It is expected that departing traffic will start to build-up from tomorrow, according to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). This will continue over the weekend at both the Tuas and Woodlands checkpoints as security checks are enhanced.
