A member of the public reported the object to police on Saturday evening. Responding to the incident, the vicinity was cordoned off and officers from SAF's CBRE unit were activated.
The object, which is believed to have been a mortar shell, was rendered safe within the localised cordon by SAF's CBRE unit at around 11.29am on Sunday morning. MORE
