HFMD shuts three more pre-school centres
Three more pre-school centres have closed for 10 days due to hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD). They are PCF Kampong Chai Chee, Glory Kindergarten in Bukit Batok and Star Learners @ Sembawang.
Each has had more than 16 HFMD cases for over 24 days. The temporary closure is to help break the chain of transmission.
The Ministry of Health is also monitoring the situation at four other centres, whose names are listed on its website.
