Singapore has dropped two places to seventh in graft watchdog Transparency International's 2014 Corruption Perceptions Index, released on Wednesday (Dec 3).

The Republic scored 84 points - down from 86 points last year - to finish behind Norway and Switzerland.

In the index, Denmark was ranked as the least corrupt, while North Korea and Somalia were ranked as the most corrupt.

The following is a list of the top- and bottom-ranked 10 nations - plus 10 big economies in the mid-range - in the ranking.

The index score relates to perceptions of the degree of corruption as seen by country analysts and business people, and ranges from zero, which is highly corrupt, to 100, which is very clean.
