Pedestrian Night on Orchard Road – Celebrate! Tourism50 will take place on Saturday (Dec 6).

There will be road closures during the event jointly held by the Orchard Road Business Association and Singapore Tourism Board.

Police said that Orchard Road (between Scotts Road and Bideford Road) and the carriageway of Mount Elizabeth in the direction of Orchard Road (between Nutmeg Road and Orchard Road) will be closed to vehicular traffic during 6pm to 11pm.

The police also warned that parking restrictions will be enforced, while vehicles found parking indiscriminately and causing obstruction will be towed away.

Saturday's event is the third installment of Pedestrian Night on Orchard Road, and will feature a local talent showcase - including the Singapore Repertory Theatre and Jack & Rai, together with an outdoor screening of short local films and animations the Singapore Tourism Board says is suitable for the entire family.
