Of the remaining participants, 16 are from Singapore - including one-armed runner Adam Kamis - while 16 are from various countries in the region.
This is the 13th year the endurance challenge is being held.
This year, it kicked off at 1pm on Saturday (Nov 8) at Ngee Ann City's Civic Plaza with 400 participants from Singapore and around the region.
The last person standing with his or her palm still on the car will walk away with a 2-litre Subaru Forester worth S$85,000, excluding COE.
The participants get a five-minute break every six hours. The public can also show their support by playing an online game to win extra five-minute breaks for their participant of choice.
The current record stands at 81 hours and 32 minutes held by the 2008 winner, Singaporean George Lee.
