It was goals galore at Yishun Stadium on Monday evening (Nov 17), as Singapore beat Cambodia 4-2 in their final warm-up match ahead of the AFF Suzuki Cup.

The Lions started brightly as Khairul Amri scored in the ninth minute.

However Cambodia equalised in the 27th minute through Khuon Laburavy.

Khairul then turned provider for Faris Ramli to put Singapore ahead in the 29th minute, but Cambodia levelled the score again right after the restart, with Laburavy scoring his second goal.

Shahril Ishak then pounced on poor goalkeeping to put Singapore 3-2 ahead, before Safuwan Baharudin made the result safe with the final goal of the match in the 37th minute.

Singapore, the reigning AFF Suzuki Cup champions, will begin their title defence against Thailand on Sunday.
