The Lions beat Laos 2-0 on Thursday (Nov 13) in a friendly at rain-logged Yishun Stadium, a confidence boost for Singapore ahead of the AFF Suzuki Cup.

The Lions got off to a roaring start after Baihakki Khaizan headed in a goal from a Shaiful Esah corner just five minutes in. 

Khairul Amri then scored with another header on the 32nd minute.

On Monday (Nov 17), Singapore will play Cambodia in their last friendly before kicking off their defence of the AFF Suzuki Cup on Nov 23.
