29 injured after two lorries collided at Lim Chu Kang

Two lorries collided on Thursday night at the junction of Lim Chu Kang Road and Lorong Rusuk, resulting in 29 people injured and sent to hospital.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted at 9.52pm of the incident, and seven ambulances were sent to the scene. 

They subsequently sent 29 people to hospital - 10 to NUH, seven to Alexandra Hospital, seven to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and five to Singapore General Hospital.

Various injuries to the head, hand, leg, back and abrasions were reported, the SCDF added.
