On May 21 last year at around 9am, while at his Teck Whye flat, he locked the front door and asked the girl to sit on a bed in the living room.
As they were chatting, he suddenly asked her if she would have sex with him in exchange for an undisclosed amount of money.
When she refused, he offered her more money. After she continued to resist his advances, he pinned her down onto the bed.
As she started struggling, he told her that he was just joking and released his grip. The terrified girl tried to take the opportunity to escape when he went to the kitchen. But she realised that she was trapped when she found out the front door was locked.
He returned to the living room and pinned her down again. When she started screaming, he got sticky tape and tried in vain to gag her mouth. The youth then whacked her head with his fist before going to the kitchen to retrieve a knife with a 16cm blade.
He threatened to hurt her with it unless she gave in to his demands. In tears, the girl finally relented as she felt there was no other alternative.
She returned to the bed and he took off her shorts and panties. He then raped her even though she was having her period. He did not use a condom.
Afterwards, they got dressed and the victim managed to leave when his mother returned home. She called a friend and told her about her ordeal.
The friend informed the victim's mother, who took the girl to make a police report.
The youth was arrested on Jan 27 this year and will be sentenced at a later date,
For raping the girl, he can be jailed between eight and 20 years and receive at least 12 strokes of the cane.
He also had unprotected sex with three underage girls between October 2012 and last December.
One of them became pregnant with his child. The girl, who is still his girlfriend, had an abortion when she was just 14.
